I’m heavy into wedding planning – can you tell? As someone who has spent the last month researching honeymoon destinations in Europe, I’ve stumbled upon some awe-inspiring Airbnb’s that would make for incredible lodging options or wedding destinations for those looking to host an intimate celebration abroad. Here are some of my favourite options:
1. Lake Como, Italy
While browsing for accommodations on the Amalfi Coast, someone suggested we look into Lake Como. Lake Como is nothing short of stunning, and it has some beautiful Airbnbs that suit the location perfectly and would make for beautiful wedding destinations. This private villa with a pool and a jaw-dropping view sleeps 16 guests and has modern finishes with Italian charm.

Because my fiance is Irish, Ireland is one place in Europe I knew we would be adding to our list of European honeymoon destinations. This farmhouse overlooks surreal countryside and mountains and would make for a stunning wedding backdrop.

5. Stirling, Scotland
What little girl doesn’t dream of feeling like a princess on her wedding day? This contemporary castle is available to rent and makes for the most stunning backdrop to your special day. Featuring 12 acres of private gardens, 5 bathrooms, and enough room for 26 people, this historic building has endless opportunities for your event.
