Focus on the ‘Why’ 

Focusing on the ‘Why’ has become a bigger trends in the last few years. If you’re a Simon Sinek or TEDTalk fan, chances are you’re familiar with this concept. For 2019, work to set clear objectives from the start and use them to define your budget and put a major emphasis on attendee engagement.

Budget

Work to ensure you always meet your budget. to ensure you succeed with this goal, always start with the value the meeting or event can generate and work your way from there. Develop incentives for your team that will keep everyone on the same page and working together towards the same goal.

Attendee experience

Focus on simplicity – don’t try too hard. Make the whole process as simple as possible for the attendee, quality of quantity is important for 2019.

Technology 

Technology must make conversations easier, be user-friendly and improve the attendee experience. It’s easy for guests to become overwhelmed with the amount of technology being utilized, so ensure you are utilizing things because they enhance your event, and not just for the sake of having it.

Safety and security 

Plan your security in line with the amount of risk in each situation. Be sure to increase security where necessary to ensure guests are safe and have plans in place in the event you need it. It’s better to be prepared.
